Dixon May Fair

The Dixon May Day celebration has been the highlight of Dixon since 1876. For many years the celebration was a two-day event, until the introduction of the Dixon Chamber of Commerce in 1909. The May Day celebration was then moved to the weekend nearest the first of May. The fair was limited to a small parade, picnic and a ball game. Through the years the event has grown and now the May Day celebration in Dixon includes some of today's most cutting edge entertainment, this year featuring Pop Superstar LeAnne Rimes and The got milk? Gravity Tour.
